Privacy Policy

This policy explains how No-BS PDF Editor (the “App”), provided by Stephanus Jakobus Gerber trading as SJG Enterprises, South Africa (“we”, “us”), handles information. In short: we do not collect your personal data.
1. Your documents
All PDF processing happens entirely on your device. Your documents are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
2. Data we collect
None. The App does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. There is no account or sign-in.
3. Analytics, tracking and advertising
The App contains no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. It does not track you across apps or websites.
4. Third-party components
The App uses no third-party SDKs other than the bundled PDFium library (BSD licence), which runs entirely on your device and sends no data anywhere.
5. Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details or Apple ID information; the App only receives your entitlement status (whether you have an active purchase). Apple’s handling of your data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
6. Your rights (POPIA and GDPR)
We process personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete. If you email us for support, we use your email address and message only to respond, keep it no longer than necessary, and you may ask us to delete it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data protection authority.
7. Children
The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
